In badminton competition sport, there are women's singles, men's singles, women's doubles, men's doubles and mixed.

Badminton players usually need badminton rackets, grips, badminton shirts, badminton shorts, badminton shoes, rackets, badminton (nature or nylon) and towels. Badminton shops offer racket service, massage paraphernalia, racket sets, badminton club equipment, trophies, school sports equipment and special sports textiles.
